Our patron

For the greater glory of God

St. Ignatius of Loyola (1491–1556) was a Basque soldier who, recovering from a cannonball wound, read the life of Christ and the lives of the saints and gave his whole life to God. He wrote the Spiritual Exercises, founded the Society of Jesus, and taught generations to find God in all things. His feast is July 31.

At St. Ignatius, everything begins with the sacred liturgy. We offer God the best we have: the Mass celebrated with reverence, a church built to lift the heart, and the Church's own music, from Gregorian chant to sacred polyphony, with Vespers sung in Latin every Thursday.

From the altar comes our teaching. The Brothers of St. John hand on the faith as the Fathers of the Church did, not as information but as wisdom for the whole of life, drawn from Scripture, the Fathers and St. Thomas Aquinas.

All of it has one aim: to form disciples like St. John, who rested on the Lord's heart at the Last Supper, stood with Mary at the foot of the Cross, and saw and believed at the empty tomb.

You are invited

“What is truth?” Pilate asked, with the Truth standing in front of him. Most people who become Catholic through OCIA tell us that is what they were looking for: the truth about God and about their own lives.

If that is your search, come and search with us. You don’t need to have decided anything, and you don’t need to worry about fitting in: belonging is God’s gift, given in Baptism, and no one makes the journey alone.

Sean Corcoran of Men For Life gives the keynote; Dr. Scott Powell of Camp Wojtyla serves as MC.
