Marriage
Engaged? Congratulations! Contact the parish office as soon as possible: 303-322-8042, parish@loyoladenver.org.
"A man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two but one flesh."Mark 10:7-8
In a sacramental marriage, God's love becomes present to the spouses in their total union and flows through them to their family and community. The sacrament involves their whole life together, and it becomes more fully sacramental as the couple cooperates with God's action, living "in Christ," with Christ living and acting in their relationship.
Getting married at St. Ignatius
The Archdiocese of Denver requires at least eight months of preparation before a wedding. Preparation is designed not just for a beautiful wedding day, but to build a Christ-centered marriage that lasts until death do you part.
Marrying at another parish? You can still do your marriage preparation at St. Ignatius. We would be honored to walk with you.
What's involved (six to nine months on average)
- FOCCUS inventory
- Marriage preparation program
- Natural Family Planning
- Liturgy and music planning
- Final meeting
